If education is your passion, and you are an accredited and active Practitioner who meets the eligibility criteria, you are encouraged to consider applying to be an Assistant Trainer. The Feldenkrais Method Training Guidelines embed a diversity of trainers and qualifying as an Assistant Trainer is the first step towards becoming a Trainer or Educational Director of a Training.

AusTAB encourages applications from each member country to ensure the diversity of educational personnel matches the growth of the Feldenkrais Method in new countries.

How to become an Assistant Trainer

Eligibility criteria

Applications will be accepted after the five year anniversary of graduation from an accredited Professional Feldenkrais Training Programme. Additional criteria are listed in the Guidelines. 

Applicants are encouraged to discuss their applications with the Board, other Assistant Trainers and Trainers.
